It is located in a beautiful natural setting in the Sierra del Cid. This Via Ferrata is one of the most particular of the Comunitat Valenciana!

THE NORTH FACE OF EL CID

The Via Ferrata del Cid K4 advanced level
is one of the longest in the whole peninsula, dating back to 1972. This via ferrata is the one that has the fewest clamps, since we can consider its route as mixed: sections that are equipped with the usual clamps or steps as ladders and other elements such as chains, in which we will have to progress using the natural grips that the wall offers us, with climbing steps but always in a safe way since there is always a safety cable. This via ferrata ends a few meters from the summit of the Silla del Cid (1152 m), from where we will have spectacular views of the coast and the interior.

This route is demanding and not suitable for everyone, as it requires knowledge of safe climbing techniques. That is why those adventurers who have enjoyed other quieter via ferratas choose this one, looking for a greater challenge with a surprising reward.

Ideal to enjoy with families with teenagers, adults or groups of daring friends with little experience in this world, who want to feel pure adrenaline in a very fun way!

The approach is 45 min. is 45 min from where we leave our cars on a wide and comfortable trail.
The return is 50 minutes and is done from the summit to the parking lot by the wide and comfortable path.
